British MTP Hot Weather FR Combat Shirt
Multicam Multicam Multicam. There's a reason it has become so prevalent since Crye developed it back in the early 2000âs. It just worksâ˘. Which may be the reason that almost every modern western military (and the odd Russian) has some sort of variant of it currently deployed. There are subtle differences throughout the multicam variants but the coolest one (in our opinion) is without a doubt the MODâs Multi-Terrain Pattern.Â
When the British military decided to dethrone the king of camo that was DPM, they at least had the sense to use Cryeâs color palette with DPM shapes and shading, after spending years developing new colorways in their âPECOCâ trials. It resulted in both a great nod to the historic DPM patternâs capability and introduced a slightly more unique version of Multicam to the market. Â
This combat shirt comes with some unique features as well, with a super soft Polyester main body that extends under the ripstop cotton sleeves for added comfort. It's also flame resistant, no more worries when you're toasting marshmallows around the fire with the boys or accidentally toasting your arm on your suppressor. Its padded pen pocket can keep your Slim Jims safe for hiking around in the bush, while the slots in the elbows for padding (not included) can keep your Slim Jim arms unbruised when you go prone.
Itâs a prolific combat shirt with better specs than most civilian-available models, and it wonât cost you a pretty penny like the latest drippy Crye shirt.Â
